Hurtta Club is a unique online community for dog-owners.

HURTTA POINTS
Through the use of Hurtta Club functions you can collect Hurtta points. When you achieve a certain score, your user level is upgraded. By collecting enough Hurtta points you can receive valuable benefits, Hurtta prizes, and much more!
You can collect Hurtta points through the following actions, among others:
- uploading photos to your dog’s profile
- uploading videos to your dog’s profile
- joining groups
- taking part in competitions
- giving WUFF! points to photos of dogs
- maintaining a blog
- being active on the site
USER LEVELS
- Club member 0 - 5 000 points
5 000 - 20 000 points
20 000 - 50 000 points
50 000 - 100 000 points
100 000 - 400 000 points
400 000 pointsYou can choose a privacy level for you, your dog, and all content you add. Your privacy level determines who can see your profile and any content you create. As default, all content is public and visible to everyone.
You can add videos of your dog to the Hurtta Club site. The maximum size for videos is 500 Mb. The supported formats are .avi, .mov, .mpeg, .flv, .mp4, and .wmv. To add videos, click the ‘Add new video’ button in your profile or your dog’s profile. When adding videos, keep in mind the following:
- The videos must be related to dogs.
- The maximum file size for videos is 500 Mb.
- Inappropriate videos will be removed, and adding such videos may lead to the deletion of your user account.
You can add profile pictures and photo albums to Hurtta Club. To manage your or your dog’s profile picture, click the ‘Edit picture’ button in your profile. To create new albums, click the ‘Create new album’ button in your profile or your dog’s profile. To add pictures to an existing album, select the desired album and then click the ‘Add photos to album’ link.
When adding photos, keep in mind the following:
- The maximum file size for photos is 10 Mt. The supported image formats are .jpg, .png, and .gif. Resize and/or edit your photos, if necessary.
- Photos uploaded to a dog’s profile must be photos of this dog (whereas the owner’s photo uploaded to your profile page may be, for example, a picture of you).
- Inappropriate photos will be removed, and adding such photos may lead to the deletion of your user account.
You can add other dog-owners as your friends and other dogs as your dog’s friends. When you add a friend, this friend’s activities will be shown on your home page and communication between the two of you will become easier.
To add a friend, go to an owner’s or a dog’s profile and click the ‘Add friend’ button. If you are trying to add a dog as a friend, a pop-up window appears and you must choose which of your dogs will befriend this dog. The other user will have to accept your friend request for the friendship to begin.
Friend requests received by you can be viewed and accepted through the ‘friend requests’ icon in the profile bar on the right.
As a Hurtta Club member, you can send private messages to any other user. To send a message, go to a user’s profile and click the ‘Send message’ button. If you or your dog have friends, you can send them messages directly from your own ‘Messages’ section.
Groups are packs created by users, for dogs to join. Groups are intended for discussions on a certain topic, on either the group’s wall or its discussion platform. Membership for a group may be set to private or open.
The easiest way to join a group is through clicking the ‘Join this group’ button on a group’s page. If the group is set as open, you become a member immediately. If the group is set as private, your membership must be accepted by the group founder. To invite other dogs to join your group, click the ‘Invite to group’ button on their profile.
